I Ching Control Group is, as the name implies, inspired in part by the hexagrams you get when casting the I Ching, a Chinese divination system I learned a great deal about thanks to Shambhala Dragon Editions books like the Taoist I Ching as translated from the original by the late Thomas Cleary.

This work isn't meant to reflect an actual I Ching "cast" but is instead meant to capture a bit of the visual aesthetic of the process. Having spent time with the I Ching and Tarot, it is fascinating how different (to me) the uses are for each.
