Joe's Exploding Zoo on Discogs.com

It's true, we are selling vinyl and select CDs on Discogs.com on the Joe's Exploding Zoo official shop there. There are multiple reasons for this, one of which is to lure people who share our sonic interests over to this site to discover the Joe's Exploding Zoo record label and our digital downloads.

Vinyl sellers aren't allowed to sell digital files on Discogs, so we by necessity have to exist in two places at once. But Discogs is such a useful conduit to so many obscure, rare, weird, and hard-to-find records that it is actually pretty useful to set up there as well as here.

All the proceeds from our Discogs.com sales go toward the Joe's Exploding Zoo record label including Illinois Department of Sound, Paisley Babylon, and Japan Versus Texas.

And as always, the things sold at Discogs are typical of our sonic obsessions here, so you'll be exploring a lifetime of musical obsessions as the catalog grows over time.

We'll list those titles for sale here at some point but we are ironing out some technical problems that make physical sales tricky until we've sorted them out in the coming days. It's June 30, 2024 at the time of this writing and its expected our online sales here will be fixed and properly sorted out in two days or so.
